Who We Are
Brian Pierce
Brian Pierce holds a Bachelor's in Computer Science and Information Systems and is a former Navy SEAL. He is a Certified NC Beekeeper and versatile in his ability to fix everything on the farm. Brian has either built or renovated the fencing, barns, workshop, arenas, main house, and guest farmhouse. He also handles all the maintenance, gardens, apiary, and landscaping.
Sarah Pierce
Sarah Pierce holds a Bachelor's in Environmental Studies and a Master of Arts in Teaching Biology. In addition to teaching at Liberty Elementary School, she is your host at the Homestead, handles the horse care, and helps Brian with the honey. She is a member of the Alamance County Beekeeping Association and an avid equestrian, riding with Daryl Kinney, attending clinics, and competing locally when her schedule allows.
